At first glance, a Chanel-style suit appears to be a boxy garment with a

This jacket is interlined with silk organza, light as a butterfly’s wing,
that is invisibly hand channel-stitched. This provides almost weightless
structure and keeps the loosely woven wool from stretching or drooping.
Two-piece sleeves and darting/back princess line follow the curves of the
body for a slimming effect. Braided and fringed detail also keep the eye
moving vertically.
