GC RW Lakeffect Blizzard, also known as "Tank," was born on July 21, 2002. We knew he was special from day one when he weighed in at well over 5 ounces. But we had no idea how special he was going to be. He was very shy at his first show and he called all through his first ring. But he soon warmed up and enjoyed showing. Each show he got more outgoing and playful on the judging stand. His last month of showing as a kitten he started getting best of breed and making many of the finals. He got his championship at Mansfield, Ohio and really seemed to have a good time. His next show was the Cat Nation Fanciers Show in Erie. He got six allbreed finals and granded in Walter Hutzler's ring with a best champion. We're really looking forward to showing him next season.
It was a great season; he finished as the top Maine Coon in Championship in Region 4 and was the 8th best cat in the region. He was also 4th best Maine Coon in all of CFA and best other tabby and white Championship Maine Coon.
