How You Can Make A Difference
Everyone is hoping and wishing for something better than we have here today. A more fiscally sound government. A more prosperous future. A better standard of living for ourselves, our parents, and our children. And although everyone agrees that the community of Erie needs these things now more than ever, very few people decide to actually become involved in the system that can bring about these changes. Thats why I have decided to become one of the first in Erie who has 25 years of hands on business experience to run for Erie city council. But now I am finding that contacting thousands of voters in this city is not an easy task for myself, even with the help of a few friends. This is why I am asking those of you who are reading this page if you would be willing to offer any type of help to my campaign committee. It can begin with simply spreading the word about me, my views and goals, and this site to all your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers who live in this city. It will then involve getting groups of people together, or in contact with each other, to assist with some of the following:
- Circulate petitions for needed signatures
Going door to door thru neighborhoods you know, or those of your family, to hand out fliers
- Helping to organize or staff a fundraising event
- Host a gathering of friends and relatives in your home, or someone elses, where I can meet with a group personally
- Arrange for me to meet with your social group at a local club, bowling alley, after church, etc.
- Arrange for me to be at media and/or publicity events
- Telephoning local friends and other citizens for campaign contributions
- Telephoning voters to remind them to vote for me as election day nears
- Contribute your own ideas and suggestions for my campaign
- Distributing signs, posters, fliers, cards, etc throughout the city as election day draws near
